Biography

Billy Bush is an American musician, audio engineer and record producer, best known as the sound engineer and live tech for the Madison, Wisconsin-based alternative rock band Garbage and the co-producer of albums Help Wanted by Eric Avery and Heart Burns by Tom Gabel.

Bush was hired by Garbage in 1995 to help reconcile the band's technology needs with their live performance for the first concert tour. He remained with the group and performed audio engineering duties on each of their subsequent albums, as well as working on records alongside Butch Vig engineering remixes for Beck, Alanis Morissette, Limp Bizkit, Korn and Ash.

Since the 2000s he has been working as a mixer for The Subways and Natasha Bedingfield, and recently mixed Ilse DeLange's Live at Ahoy to 5.1. Billy is represented exclusively by Jim Phelan and Jerimaya Grabher at Global Positioning Services in Santa Monica, CA.
