Scott Cutler is a USA born musician and music producer. He is also a prolific songwriter, writing for a large number of popular music artists. He has been a member of the Los Angeles bands Ednaswap and Annetenna with songwriting partner Anne Preven. He has written songs such as "Torn" sung by Natalie Imbruglia, and "Listen", cowritten and sung by Beyoncé Knowles in the 2006 film Dreamgirls.

Anne Preven is a US songwriter and musician, originally from New York. She began playing classical music at age 5, but gave that up as a teenager. She is a Harvard graduate and began writing songs while a student there. She was the lead singer in the LA bands Ednaswap and Annetenna, the former band name coming to her in a dream, but is best known for her songwriting.

With songwriting partner Scott Cutler, she wrote the Ednaswap song "Torn" that was later covered by Natalie Imbruglia; wrote "Sanctuary" for Madonna; and wrote and produced Sinéad O'Connor's "No Man's Woman"; and "Listen", cowritten and sung by Beyoncé Knowles in the 2006 film DREAMGIRLS. Sinéad O'Connor also covered "The State I Am In," which was initially written for Ednaswap.
